He who does nothing renders himself
incapable of doing anything;
but while we are executing any work,
we are preparing and qualifying ourselves,
to undertake another.

This quote was in my math book today, and having nothing else to post about, I thought it would fit! I needed to read this, I am continually having to remind myself to WORK! Keep moving, don't be lazy!
I pray you all have a WONDERFUL day!
God Bless!

Hi Hannah! So nice to hear from one of my "lurkers." :o) I'm glad my blog has been a blessing to you -- praise the Lord!
ReplyDeleteI play my violin in church all the time (I accompany the piano for congregation singing). I would love for us to have a church orchestra, but so far it's just me and my sister Amy, who plays flute.
I'm going to add your blog to my favorites so I remember to come back often! :o)

Hi Hannah,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment on my blog. :-) Yes the donuts were yummy! A bit of work to make but well worth it!
Excellent quote to keep in mind!
Hope you're having a lovely, restful Sunday.

Thank you for sharing that quote. It is true. Reading it today, I was reminded of a quote a pastor quoted in a sermon I listened to recently:
ReplyDelete"It is better to aim at perfection and fail, that to aim at nothing and succeed."
I'm not sure whether the two are related at all!
God bless,
Anna
